Update!
I have been so busy and haven't had time to get on here lately. So sorry! Well here is a quick update...
I have been doing school, piano, reading, watching the Duggars, playing with our new pet OREO (he is a gerbal), and wishing that Halloween gets over fast (I hate Halloween!!). Here is more on each of these...
SCHOOL:
I am doing Algebra 1 and Geometry at the same time.
I am doing Biology. It can be kind of interesting.
I am also journaling. It's really fun to write my thoughts and little things about my day or week. Sometimes I also write verses I read that day and liked.
PIANO:
I am starting Christmas songs. Right now I am playing ISN'T HE, SWEET DREAMS AND STARLIGHT, and O HOLY NIGHT.
I am also doing lots of scales. Right now I'm on E Major (4 flats!!).
READING:
I am reading a book about Theodore Roosevelt. He was a very Manly guy. He is the kind of man I want my brothers to look back on and say, "I want to be like him."
And I just finished the first 3 Christy Miller books. They were good. Christy learns a couple of lessons in each of them. You have to be careful when reading them though, because Christy likes this guy names Todd and she spends a lot of time with him and they are really close. If you are like me and plan on not dating and not hanging out with guys before you are ready to get married then this might bug you. It bugged me some, but it does show you what you shouldn't do! Christy also does things that I would never do like...being alone with boys on the beach, she wears a two piece bathing suit, and she also don't have a really close relationship with her parents. If you plan on reading these books remember to point out the things she shouldn't do and the things that you wouldn't and shouldn't ever do. It does give you a good view of what most Christian girls lives, in today's world, looks like. It also is a good way to see what things to look out for like...boys that like you, friends that get you into trouble, standing up for whats right and what can happen if you don't stand up for what's right. The lessons she learns are really good like...being careful about who your friends are, she gets saved, she learn (through a friend she has) how bad eating disorders, like anorexia, are, she learns how to say "no" to things she shouldn't do, and how not the play the game of liking a guy just because your friends say he likes you and you should like/date him. These are great books to read and talk about with your mom. Discuss the good points and the bad ones too. One thing to be careful of is to not let youself long for a guy like Christy. Remember to wait. It will be worth it in the end.
DUGGARS:
I love to watch the Duggars. It's about the only show I watch now a days. It's a great family show.
OREO:
I think about 2 weeks ago we got a gerbil names Oreo. He is so cute and soft. We love to watch him. Sarah likes him the best I think.
HALLOWEEN:
I HATE HALLOWEEN!!! I can't wait until it's over! I never go to the store during this time of year. Halloween is so gross! Yuck!!!!!! The only 3 good things about Halloween are...Eggnog comes out (yummy), Candy Corn comes out (double yummy), and the old Scooby-Doo shows are on the Cartoon channel a lot. :-)
I guess that's it for now.

My 16th Birthday
Today is my 16th Birthday. I have had a fun day, except it didn't end like I thought it would. Daniel fell off of our trampoline and fractured his arm. Don't worry, he is fine now.
Daniel was so thoughtful and got me Glitter Gel Pens and gave them to me yesterday as an early present. He is so sweet!
Joshua was waking me up this morning and he suddenly had this thought. "Cynthia, do you want to put my R2D2 on your cake? You know, my R2D2 that I had on my cake and it was so cool. You could put it on your cake. Would you like that?" Well, what am I suppose to say to my thoughtful little brother? I can't just say "No, I don't really want that." So I said, "We will see. Maybe." He ended up going to the store with mom and helped her to pick out some little candy hearts that I can put on my cake. I thought it was really sweet of him to be so nice and offer to let me use his R2D2 and put it on my cake. :-)
Everyone keeps asking me if I am going to start driving yet, but I am in no hurry. I might practice a little, but I doing think I will be getting my licence right away.
I will try and post some pictures soon.
