Psalm 23

Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Free Audiobooks

http://librivox.org/

My mom got this website from someone (I don't know who.). Anywhy, it's great. You can listen to audiobooks for free. The books that they have for you to listen to were all published before 1923. And it's all volunteers that do it. I am reading As You Like It By William Shakespeare and listening to it as I was reading it made it come alive! It's a great place to listen to older book like ones by William Shakespeare. Check it out!

Two Sisters (Mary and Elizabeth)

I just finished reading two books called Mary, Bloody Mary and Beware, Princess Elizabeth. They are by Carolyn Meyer. I really enjoyed both of them. Carolyn writes as if the girls themselves are telling their story. It was really interesting to see both of their views. They thought horribly of each other. They were sisters, but they thought of each other as enemies. I wonder if their relationship would have been different if they had understood each others view. It made me also ask the question "Am I trying to understand my sibling's view in situations ?" Probably not, but I can try to be better. What's you relationship with your sibling like? Think about the questions below.

Questions for you and me (My answers are Red):

Are you trying to understand your sibling's view in situations? Not all the time. I could be better!
Do you even care what your sibling's view is? I do, but sometimes I just get mad and am not patient enough to hear what their view is or if they even did it. Sometimes I just blame them.
What are somethings you can do to understand their view? I can listen to them, ask them questions, be patient, and love them even if they did something that hurt me or ruined something that was mine.

The Widow's Might

Preview from John Moore on Vimeo

Here is a little bit more about the movie:

From the creators of Bubble Trouble, and Heartstrings, comes an all new feature length comedy adventure! John Moore and Cameron Cavillo are buddies—aspiring filmmakers with the dream of winning the prestigious American Viewfinder film festival.

When an acquaintance of Cameron’s, an elderly Widow, faces losing her home to the outrageous property taxes in her area, the Moore family takes action, along with their friends, the Morton family. Through political smears, on-set mishaps, and a wild western ride, these families band together in a classic black hat/white hat tale of heroism! Also features a wonderful original score and soundtrack.

I can't wait to see this movie. It's now available to purchase. You can find more about the movie or purchase it here.

Come What May

When Does Life Really Begin?

If college student Caleb Hogan argues what he truly believes, he stands to lose the most important competition of his life—and the support of his mother. If he softens his stance, he might win the coveted title...but lose the heart of his teammate Rachel in the process.

Come What May is a vivid reminder that choosing what’s right is never easy...but it’s always worth the cost

This movie looks great! I can't wait for it to come out. If you want to find out more on the movie click here. (Sorry that my blog cut some of the right side off. You can still watch it good though.)

Clouds

Genesis 1:6-8

And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

Painting!

My mom was really wanting to paint our dinning room and living room, so a couple of weeks ago we did. With in 3 days we had the living and the dinning rooms painted and all put back to gether. Who painted? Daddy, Mommy, Me, Matthew, and Daniel. If you look though the pictures below you might note that there is not one picture of me. I was the one taking the pictures so there isn't any of me painting, but I did a LOT! I had fun. In the end we were all was tired, but the rooms look great!

Dinning Room ~

Daddy fixed a lot of holes. This one above was the biggest!

The 3 below pictures are the before pic.'s of the dinning room.

Daniel was really excited about painting.

Daddy did all of the rolling.

Matthew did some small rolling.

Daniel also did the little roller.

Detail work.

The 3 below pictures are the after pic.'s of the dinning room. It looks good!

Living Room ~
The 4 below pictures are the before pictures of the living room.

The 4 below pictures are the after pictures of the living room. It looks good too!

These doors were white before. I didn't get a picture of them before we painted.

You might be wondering, what part did I (Cynthia) paint? Well I painted most of the edges, I taped a lot, and I painted most of the white trim in the living room. Well I hope you enjoyed my pictures.
