I was reading my Whatever Happened to Justice? by Richard J. Maybury the other day for school and it had this little clip from a letter that a man wrote to a newspaper. I really liked it and have to share it with you.
If there is a single reason for my immigration to the U.S. it would be the two complementing documents of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. ...
I am always surprised be my fellow citizens born in America because they take these documents for granted and do not put those principles into practice.
I have traveled and studied in more than 50 countries. I always come back to the U.S. and I'm glad to come home. Nothing's better then home: America.

Letter to the "Sacramento Bee" newspaper,

What he said about Americans taking the two documents for granted is so true. We Americans should not take these for granted and always try and follow them. But do you even know what they say? I don't, but I plan to find out! Will you find out and try to follow them, so that people can come to our country and said, "These people really care and appreciate thoughts two documents."?
